''Lip Sync Battle'' is an American musical comedy television program which premiered on April 2, 2015, on Spike cable network. The show is based on an idea introduced to ''Late Night with Jimmy Fallon'' by John Krasinski, in which celebrities battle each other with lip sync performances. It was used (and is still used) as a recurring segment on ''The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'' before being developed as a separate show.
